PARIS, TX-- A dangerous Paris intersection, that has been the site of several fatal accidents, is back on the Traffic Commissions agenda Tuesday.
In early June, TxDOT added striping and installed stop signs, hoping to make the intersection at FM 1497 and Loop 286 safer.
Paris Police say the intersection has been the scene of 40 accidents, including 40 injuries and seven fatalities since 1995. The most recent, on June 3rd, killed two Texas A&M Commerce basketball players and injured two others.
The meeting is at 2910 Clarksville Street in the Municipal Courtroom, beginning at 5:15 p.m.
