Traffic stop leads to drug bust in Sherman

SHERMAN, TX - Two people are now facing drug charges after they were arrested during a traffic stop in Sherman.

47-year-old Roy Nichols and 32-year-old Leslie Looney have been arrested for possession of a controlled substance.

Looney also has an outstanding felony warrant out of Fannin county for the same charge.

Grayson county sheriff's investigators say Wednesday deputies found about 2 ounces of meth and 3 ounces of liquid positive for meth in Nichols' vehicle.

They also seized over $16,000 cash.

Both are held on bond in the Grayson county jail.
