DENISON, TX -- Several roads in Denison are still blocked, hours after a train got off the tracks.

Denison Assistant Fire Chief Bill Ray said at around 4:15 Monday afternoon, eleven train cars were derailed near Chandler Avenue and Owings Street. Ray said three intersections were blocked and drivers will have to look for alternative routes because it may take several hours to clean up.

He said no one was hurt and the train was not carrying any hazardous materials.
