Two Trenton teens against distracted driving

TRENTON, TX -- Two Trenton high school students are going to Washington D.C. to help put an end to distracted driving.

Hunter Parsons and Lorena Jasso, along with other teens across the country, are leading a teen distracted driving initiative

The two are meeting with federal and state leaders to learn more about the texting a driving issue. Once they get back, they'll take what they've learned and develop a plan in their community to end texting and driving.

The two say they chose to take on the issue because they want to save the lives of their loved ones and peers.
