Trial pushed back for Hugo man charged with murder

HUGO, OK -- The jury trial for a Hugo man charged with two counts of first degree murder has been pushed back.

The Choctaw County Court Clerk's office says 33-year-old Dawaylon Rainey's trial will now be October 14th instead of June 9th.

Rainey is accused of shooting and killing 23-year-old Floyd Clegg, of Colbert, and 19-year-old Qualin Hayden, of Sherman

Their bodies were found in August of last year at the Southwind Acres Apartment Complex in Hugo.

Rainey has pleaded not guilty to the crimes.

A pre trial conference is scheduled for September 2nd.
