Trial date set for Hugo man accused of murder

HUGO, OK-- A trial date has been set for a Hugo man, accused of first degree murder.

According to the Choctaw County Court Clerk, 26-year old Kelvin Knight was in court for a pre-trial conference, Tuesday.

A jury trial is now set for August 13th.

Knight is charged with first degree murder for the death of 76-year-old, Willie May Gill.

Investigators say Knight stabbed Gill to death inside her home, near hugo, last June.

Knight is being held without bond in the Choctaw County Jail.
