LAMAR COUNTY, TX-- A multi-agency narcotics investigation lands two Lamar County residents behind bars.
Sheriff Scott Cass says 43-year old Jimmie Northcutt and 32-year old Esmeralda Reeves were both arrested Monday at a home in Cunningham on drug charges.
Detectives executing a search warrant say found meth, large quantities of money and drug paraphernalia. They say Northcutt attempted to flush evidence down the toilet.
They also found property that was reported stolen in September 2013.
Both are being held in the Lamar County Jail.
