Flash flood watch is still in effect for all of Texoma along with scattered flood warnings. The continued rain for today and tomorrow can cause flooding issues so watch road conditions, turn around don't drown. Thunderstorms are possible as well that could become on the strong side.
ELMORE CITY, OK - A head on collision in Garvin County leaves two people dead.
The wreck happened around 9 p.m. Saturday on Highway 29 about one mile east of Elmore City.
OHP said 20-year-old Lance Todd Pemberton was driving a Dodge pickup eastbound when he crossed the center line hitting a van head on. Pemberton was pronounced dead at the scene.
His passenger 20-year-old Hunter Watson was flown to OU Medical Center in critical condition.
The driver of the van 45-year-old Gayla Jackson also died at the scene.
Her passenger was treated and released from a Norman hospital.
Troopers are still investigating what caused Pemberton to cross the center line.
