LOVE COUNTY, OK -- Oklahoma Highway Patrol Troopers say two people are dead after a vehicle rear ended a semi truck on Interstate 35 near Thackerville.
Trooper Brian Quinn says the accident happened right after 9 PM Monday night near mile marker nine on I-35.
Quinn says witnesses saw the vehicle traveling at speeds over 100 miles per hour on the highway.
He says when the vehicle came upon two semis in the roadway and due to high speed and traffic conditions, the vehicle rear-ended the semi.
Quinn says the two front male passengers were killed in the accident and one backseat female passenger was flown to a Plano hospital.
The driver of the semi was not injured.
Troopers are still investigating the crash but do say speed played a factor.
No names have been released.
