Two suspicious fires in Atoka under investigations

ATOKA, OK - Two more fires have been set in Atoka County and investigators are asking for your help to find whoever is responsible.

Atoka Sheriff's Deputy Greg Munholland says a house was set on fire along Wilson and Bobwhite trail Friday night.

Just minutes after firefighters put out those flames he says someone tried to set 300 bales of hay on fire along artesian road.

Just a week before those fires a home on Boggy Depot Road was also set on fire.

Munholland says the fires may be connected and the state fire marshal has ruled all the fires as arson.

If you see a suspicious person or vehicle in the area you are asked to contact the Atoka County Sheriff's Office at (580) 889-2221
