PARIS, TX-- A pair of house fires in Paris are being investigated as suspicious.
Fire Chief Larry Wright says a home in the 40 block of NW 25th street went up in flames just after 10:30 Monday morning.
The cause has not yet been determined. Fire officials say most of the damage was suffered on the inside of the house, and the home is repairable.
Early Friday morning, the Paris Fire Department also responded to a fire they're calling suspicious.
The home was fully engulfed in flames by the time crews arrived to the 600 block of West Kaufman Street. The home is considered a total loss.
The fire marshal and arson dog were brought out to both scenes to investigate.
No one was home at the time of either fires.
