Two vehicles stolen in Paris

PARIS,TX-- Paris Police are investigating the theft of two vehicles over the weekend.

The first car was stolen from a gas station in the 1800 block of Bonham Street after a woman left her car running.

Authorities say the car was recovered in the 3900 block of Pine Mill Road, but items inside her purse were stolen.

The second vehicle was reported stolen from a locked shop in the 2000 block of West Austin Street, and was later found abandoned and damaged.

Police say the thief apparently had a key to both the shop and the vehicle.
