TEXAS - Tuesday TxDOT is kicking off their annual Don't mess with Texas, anti-litter campaign.
The department first rolled out the famous campaign 27 years ago and is now re-vamping it so it's geared toward young adults between the ages of 16 and 34.
This year they'll feature the the iconic red, white, and blue "Don't mess with Texas" trash barrels.
In the coming months, hundreds of the barrels will appear at popular tourist attractions, sports venues, and other high traffic locations to remind drivers to properly dispose of their trash
