MADILL, OK -- A vigil has been set up for a young Madill man who was killed in a head-on collision in Mead Saturday morning.

Troopers say 19-year-old Skylar Briley died after hitting another vehicle on U.S. 70. Friends say a vigil in his memory will take place Monday at 8 p.m. It will be held outside the old Thrifty Food Center off Highway 70. A barbeque benefit dinner will take place before the service. Friends will also be accepting donations there for the family.

OHP says they are still investigating the accident that killed Briley. They say he crossed the center line on U.S. 70 and hit a vehicle carrying 21-year-old William Mays and 35-year-old Earl Pool. They were taken to the hospital, and at last check were in stable condition.
