SHERMAN, TX -- Tax-free weekend kicks off across Texas, but one store is starting back to school savings at midnight on Friday.
This is Wal-marts first Midnight Savings Event. From midnight to 3 a.m., crayons, pencils and binders will be 25 cents.
The big items on sale will be laptops. You can save $50 on two brands at midnight, while supplies last.
Printers and graphing calculators are also marked down all weekend long.
Assistant manager, Nikki Woods, says the Sherman store is stocked up and ready for tonight's shoppers.
"What they can do is they can get the best pick of everything. Everything is very well stocked at this time. They can not of course, fight the crowds. They can take advantage of the special deals that we are going to be having," Woods said.
Shopper, Kitty Russell, said she'll take advantage of the savings.
"I've already bought school clothes for my kid, for my daughter. But yes, most definitely I will be back to get the rest and maybe stock up on extra," Russell said.
Clothes, shoes, school supplies and back packs all under $100 are tax-free all weekend long in Texas.
