SHERMAN, TX -- Weather permitting, construction on Sherman's Loy Lake Bridge will start Monday.
City officials, developers and TxDOT are widening the bridge to six lanes. It is currently three lanes. Sherman Mayor Carey Wacker says the project will cost nearly $8 million dollars.
Construction is expected to last for up to 14 months.
