Woman found dead in Fannin County off Hwy 11
FANNIN COUNTY, TX -- Fannin County officials say they are still trying to figure out what happened to a 57-year-old woman who's body was found in a ditch early this morning.

FANNIN COUNTY, TX -- Fannin County officials say they are still trying to figure out what happened to a 57-year-old woman who's body was found in a ditch early this morning.
Investigators say the woman's body was discovered west of Bailey off of Highway 11 around 7 a.m.
Officers say so far there is no evidence of foul play. Family members told officials the woman left her home last night around 10:30. Police say her vehicle was found less than a mile from her house, and it appears she walked across some pastures and ended up on the highway.
Officials say the woman's body has been sent to the Medical Examiner's office to find an official cause of death.
