PARIS, TX -- Paris Police tell us a man is dead after he was shot Sunday afternoon.
Around 5 o'clock police say a young male was taken to a local hospital after being shot in the chest in the 2800 block of Willowbend. Officials say he was pronounced dead a short time after arrival.
Authorities say a older male is in custody after telling officers he shot the victim.
No names are being released at this time.
Police say information indicates the young male who was shot was in a relationship with the older male's daughter.
