7-14-05 – A Collinsville teenager is dead after an early morning car accident. Dennis Runnels was ejected from his vehicle around 12:45 a.m. Thursday. Troopers say the 19-year-old lost control of his car on a curve on FM 902.

7-13-05 - Pontotoc County authorities arrested a 59-year-old Ada grandmother on charges of dealing the drug Oxycontin out of her home. Agents raided the home of Doane Mae Balthrop on Tuesday.

7-13-05 - A Supreme Court spokeswoman says Chief Justice William Rehnquist has been hospitalized for a fever. Rehnquist has been undergoing treatment for thyroid cancer since last fall.

7-13-05 – A Gainesville man is accused of using an assault-style rifle to open fire on a Cooke County home Wednesday morning, killing Melvin Jay Tamplin. Deputies suspect it was part of an on-going feud.
