5-16-05 - Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice says a Newsweek story has "done a lot of harm" to U-S outreach in the Muslim world. Newsweek reported that US interrogators had placed copies of Islam's holy book in bathrooms and flushed one down the toilet.
5-16-05 - A man died from injuries in a car accident in Healdton Sunday, despite being revived once. Michael Sheffield of Frederick was pronounced dead before 10pm, but minutes later was brought back to life.
5-13-05 - None of Oklahoma's major military bases are on the Pentagon's list of bases recommended for closing or realignment, but several smaller ones are. A reserve center in Tishomingo is marked for closure, but it hasn't been used in 5 years.
5-12-05 – A body was discovered Thursday morning at the Chickasaw National Recreation area in Murray County.Authorities say the body was found in the Rock Creek campground, near Sulphur, by a visitor.
