9-26-04- Sherman police, along with NTSB investigators spent Sunday morning reconstructing the accident on Highway 75 that killed ten people last Monday, including three small children.

Grayson County Shooting

9-26-04- Grayson County Sheriff's Deputies are investigating a shooting at a house on east Main Street just outside of Denison Saturday evening. Two suspects were taken into custody, but the investigation continues.

NAACP Investigates ECU Player Death

9-25-04- The NAACP is asking for a federal probe into the recent death of an African-American football player at East Central University. Last weekend, a 43 year old diesel mechanic allegedly rammed into a pickup truck loaded with players from East Central.

9-25-04- Federal prosecutors in Illinois have been asked to investigate whether there was any connection between the state's licenses-for-bribes scandal and the Sherman wreck that killed ten people Monday.

Man Killed in Accident

9-25-04- A 50 year old Pauls Valley man is dead after a one car crash late last night on State Highway 77 in Garvin County. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Jackie Brown was northbound on 77 when his vehicle left the roadway, struck a culvert and went airborne.

Florida Braces for Hurricane Jeanne

9-25-04- Hurricane Jeanne is barreling toward Florida. The storm's outer edges already are dropping rain and kicking up winds along the Atlantic coast. It is the fourth hurricane to impact Florida in the last six weeks.

9-24-04 - A Bryan County jury deliberated nearly 5 hours before finding Stanley Trammel guilty of 1st degree murder on Friday. Now he could face the death penalty for shooting John Duncan in May of 2003.

Shots Fired; 2 Injured

9-23-04 – Authorities in Bonham are investigating a shooting that injured two people Wednesday night. Police say it happened at around 7 p.m. in the 1100 block of Poplar Street. The suspect was taken into custody and he is in the Bonham City Jail.
