DENISON, TX -- A heavily traveled road in Denison will receive a makeover.

U.S. Highway 69 will be down to one lane Thursday from 11:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M. The Texas Department of Transportation will be setting concrete beams for new construction.

Flaggers will be on each end to direct traffic. Motorists are asked to use caution in the construction zone.

The Texas Department of Transportation asks that you take a different route if possible.
