TISHOMINGO, OK--Johnston County EMS was honored for their service Friday.

They received the state award for Life Support System of the Year. Director Kenny Power says it's an honor, and nice to be recognized for what they do.

"We are proud, and we wouldn't win this award-obviously this isn't just my award- I've got 14 people on staff that participate and make us the service that we are," Power said.

Power says this is their second time winning the award that they also won it back in 2003.
