PARIS (AP) - There's no sign of the wreckage from a plane carrying 116 people that disappeared over northwestern Africa today. But France's foreign minister says the plane "probably crashed."
Two French fighter jets are among the aircraft searching a rugged region of northern Mali for the plane, which had been on its way from Burkina Faso to Algiers.
Officials say heavy rain was reported in the area. France's transport minister says the crew's last message asked air control to change the plane's route because of the weather.
