DAVIS, OK -- More than 500 people were evacuated from Turner Falls earlier Sunday after heavy rains sent rushing water into the park.
Several local emergency crews got campers out of the area and bused the majority of them to the Murray County Expo Center. The American Red Cross is supporting shelter and say more storms are expected in Oklahoma this week and encourage families to have a plan incase of flooding.
No injuries were reported during the park's flood.
Officials say Turner Falls will reopen when water levels are safe.
