JIMTOWN, OK -- What police say started as an altercation between neighbors leaves one Love County man in critical condition.
OSBI and Love County authorities are still investigating the scene in Jimtown, but they say an on going argument between neighbors is what led to the shooting.
Police say they believe a man was working on a cattle guard this afternoon when his neighbor shot at him. Investigators say they believe a third man conducted a drive by shooting at the home in retaliation. Authorities have not released the names of the three men involved, but police say two are in custody and the third was taken by helicopter to Parkland hospital in Dallas after being shot in the hand and mouth.
Officials say one of the men behind bars was booked on Shooting with Intent to Kill and the other on Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
