SULPHUR, OK--People in Sulphur and Marietta got to get up close and personal with their congressman today. U.S. Representative Tom Cole held a Town Hall meeting at the Murray county expo and the Marietta town hall.
A hot topic was the heath car law. Cole says the house of representatives already voted for a repeal and that the American people still have the opportunity to repeal as well. He said the fate of the heath care legislation really depends on the November election.
Cole also discussed concerns on the deficit, the progress of farm bill, and passage of the drought relief bill. Cole said he enjoyed having one on one time with the people.
