OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Oklahoma City police say a 2-year-old boy drowned Tuesday night after he was briefly left alone in a bathtub.
Police say the drowning was reported at about 7 p.m. Tuesday at a home in southeast Oklahoma City. Authorities say the boy's mother said she was bathing the boy and left him alone for a short time. When she returned, the boy was underwater and not breathing.
The boy was taken to an Oklahoma City hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Police have not released the boy's name. Authorities say they don't suspect foul play.
