Head of Oklahoma FBI office moving

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - The head of Oklahoma's FBI office is being promoted to deputy assistant director of the FBI's Counterterrorism Division at FBI headquarters in Washington, D.C.

Special Agent in Charge Michael Ward is expected to leave the Oklahoma City office in mid-August.

Ward joined the FBI in July 1988 and has been in charge of the Oklahoma City office since November 2006.

His replacement in Oklahoma City has not been chosen.
