I had the honor of hearing Brigadier General Myles Deering speak in Norman for the send off of the 45th Infantry before they were deployed last October. He seemed to be very genuine with the speech he gave to the family and friends of the soldiers being deployed. I believe his son was also being sent to Iraq. I have the upmost respect for him and his family and wish him the best with his promotion. It is well deserved. Please continue to pray for our troops that will be coming home in September and October and also for the ones that are being deployed or are still over there. GOD BLESS THEM ALL!
