OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Oklahoma City police say one person was killed when a car crashed while leading police on a chase.
Police say the chase began when an officer saw a car matching the description of a stolen car and the driver refused to stop.
A police helicopter joined the pursuit before the driver lost control on a city street and crashed into a concrete pillar under Interstate 40 just east of I-44.
Officers say a passenger in the car was thrown from the vehicle and killed and the driver is hospitalized.
No names or the condition of the driver have been released.
