OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Most of the Oklahoma City Thunder's basketball games this season will be shown on a rebranded Fox Sports network.
The team and Fox Sports Southwest announced Monday that 65 NBA games will be shown on the network, which will be renamed Fox Sports Oklahoma. Other games that aren't on national television will be shown on a local station through an agreement that hasn't been announced yet, but plans are for all 82 games to be on TV.
Owner Clay Bennett moved the Seattle SuperSonics to Oklahoma City in July and announced the team's new name earlier in September. The team's season opener is scheduled for Oct. 29.
The television agreement is a switch from when the New Orleans Hornets were relocated to Oklahoma City for two seasons and used Cox cable for most of its games.
