MUSKOGEE, Okla. - Two Ada women who are charged with a U.S. Army soldier of trying to hire someone to kill the soldier's wife have pleaded guilty in federal court in Muskogee.

U.S. Attorney Sheldon Sperling said Thursday that 32-year-old Tonia Mullins and 43-year-old Regina Hercules pleaded guilty to conspiracy and murder-for-hire.

Prosecutors say Mullins, Hercules and soldier Michael Crawford planned to have Crawford's wife killed so Crawford and Mullins could marry and collect $250,000 in life insurance.

Sperling says military officials have been notified so Crawford can be returned to Oklahoma to face charges.

Hercules and Mullins each face up to 10 years in prison and $250,000 in fines.

First of all, If you want to see ugly...go to the News9 website and check out the woman who turned them in. Eww. Second of all, I don't know if they teach spelling in hillbilly school, but if you want to talk about someone's stupidity...learn how to spell "stupidity".

Are you kidding me? Some one tries to kill someone and all you people have to complain about is their mug shots. These two women kept telling me that they could't go to jail because THEIR kids could'nt live without them but yet they both thought it was ok for that one year old little girl to live without their mother. They should get more than ten years.Well thanks to their stupidy their children have to live without them.

EVEN FUNNIER. Word is the prison has let Tonya file a motion in pontotoc county to try and prove the father of her now 8 or 9 year old daughter, who has had custody of the young girl since mommy was picked up, Is "Unfit" to be a parent and is trying to regain custody of the child. What judge is going to give a mother who is still serving time in jail custody of a small child who's fathers neck was next on the chopping block after crawford's?? just thought i would give you an update to this maddness. Hope she doesn't try to tell the judge that the child would be better off in the bottom bunk in her cozy cell.
