IDABEL, Okla. (AP) - State and federal authorities have arrested 28 people as the result of an undercover drug investigation in McCurtain and Choctaw counties.
Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs spokesman Mark Woodward says the investigation began in May. He says undercover agents bought methamphetamine, marijuana, cocaine and prescription drugs from dealers in Idabel, Broken Bow and Hugo.
Woodward says 37 arrest warrants were issued and 28 people were in custody late Wednesday.
