TULSA, Okla. (AP) - A Tulsa man has been sentenced to life in prison for the strangulation deaths of two women more than year ago.
Forty-two-year-old Eric Phillips was sentenced yesterday after pleading guilty to two counts of first-degree murder and two counts of unauthorized removal of a dead body.
Phillips had been charged in the deaths of 29-year-old Angela Bassett and 36-year-old Angela Hargrove. The women's bodies were found tied up and covered with tarp on the side of a road in north Tulsa.
