OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Oklahoma City police say a woman who was
killed last week was pregnant and they'll ask prosecutors to file two first-degree murder charges against her boyfriend.
The body of 25-year-old Magaly Estrada was found Friday in a home in southwest Oklahoma City and police arrested 24-year-old Miguel Monarrez at the home.
Sgt. Gary Knight says the medical examiner's office has determined Estrada was in the early stages of pregnancy and the case is now considered a double homicide.
Knight says it isn't known if Monarrez was the father.
A cause of death has not been released but police say Estrada's body showed signs of trauma.
Knight says the two were arguing before Estrada was killed and detectives are looking for the cause of the argument.
