OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - State child welfare workers recommended at
least twice that a boy who was allegedly beaten to death by his mother's boyfriend be removed from the home.
Three-year-old Ryan Weeks died November 5 and the mother's boyfriend - Rocky Moore of Elk City - faces a first-degree murder complaint.
The mother - Trinity Anderson - has not been charged.
A 17-page report on Ryan's death shows that on two occasions welfare workers recommended that he and his siblings be permanently
removed from the mother's home because of alleged abuse.
On both occasions Anderson was able to persuade the workers she
was trying to clean up her life.
