Home Invasion

FAIRLAND, Okla. (AP) - Authorities say a man was shot and killed in an apparent break-in at his home in a rural area outside of Fairland in far northeast Oklahoma.

The victim is reported to be a businessman who lives in a rural area outside the community.

The suspects were reportedly wearing camouflage clothing. It's at least the second home invasion in Ottawa County in less than a week.

On Thursday, two men entered a residence of an attorney in rural Miami where they held a woman and her grandchildren hostage during
a robbery.
