PRESCOTT, Ariz. (AP) - A sex offender from Oklahoma who posed as a 12-year-old boy to enroll in several Arizona schools was sentenced today to 70½ years in prison.
Thirty-one-year-old Neil Havens Rodreick II pleaded guilty last year to seven criminal charges as part of a plea deal.
Two charges stemmed from the charade he pulled for two years but most involved child pornography.
The former El Reno man didn't speak and shook his head no when asked if he had anything to say before being sentenced.
Before going to Arizona Rodreick was convicted in Oklahoma of lewdly propositioning a 6-year-old boy in 1996 and served about six years in prison.
