OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Oklahoma City Councilman Ronald "Skip" Kelly has been arrested for driving under the influence.
Kelly was arrested about 2:30 a.m. Thursday after being stopped in northeast Oklahoma City.
A phone call to his law office was not answered and a message left on the answering machine was not immediately returned.
Police say a caller to 911 reported a drunk driver at a gas station along Interstate 35 in northeast Oklahoma City.
Capt. Steve McCool says an officer caught up to the car as it was straddling lanes before exiting I-35. He says the officer stopped the car and arrested Kelly after determining there was probable cause to believe he was driving under the influence.
Kelly refused to take a breathalyzer test.
