Suspect arrested in Lawton stabbing

LAWTON, Okla. (AP) - Lawton police have arrested a man wanted in a fatal stabbing earlier this month.

Police say officers following an anonymous tip found Robert Hoadley at a home in northwest Lawton about 4 a.m. Monday and arrested him as he tried to crawl out a window.

Hoadley was wanted for second-degree murder in the April 15 stabbing of Daniel Halterman.

Police say Halterman was stabbed to death while trying to help two women evict a man from their home.
