OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - State tourism officials are closely watching weather forecasts for Memorial Day while several parks have areas closed because of high water.
No park is completely shut down but the state Department of Tourism and Recreation says some campsites, recreational vehicle sites, boat ramps and parts of two golf courses are partially closed.
All the sites are in southern and eastern Oklahoma - including a boat ramp and a road at Lake Texoma.
At Lake Tenkiller a boat ramp, the handicap accessible fishing dock and six sites in the Cherokee Campground are closed.
Tourism director Hardy Watkins says lodges and cabins haven't been affected.
