OKLAHOMA CITY,OK. (AP) - Authorities say four inmates at the Oklahoma County jail will face aggravated assault charges after an attack that left another inmate with a broken jaw and fractured eye socket.
Authorities say the attack happened Feb. 12. Oklahoma County sheriff's spokesman Mark Myers tells The Oklahoman that an inmate was punched by four other inmates - including one who's been convicted of first-degree murder.
Myers says the attack stemmed from an apparent dispute over visitation. Myers says some of the inmates stood outside a jail cell as lookouts as other inmates continued to attack the wounded man.
Formal charges have not yet been filed in the attack.
