LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Former Oklahoma Congressman J.C. Watts has rejoined the board of directors for the Dillard's Inc.
department store chain.
Watts replace James A. Haslam III, who resigned his position.
The Little Rock-based chain announced Watts' election on Tuesday.
Watts represented Oklahoma's 4th Congressional District from
1995 to 2003 and was elected chair of the House Republican
Conference in 1998. He is also a former star quarterback at the
University of Oklahoma. Watts served previously on Dillard's board,
leaving the post last year.
Dillard's operates department stores in 29 states.
