ADA, Okla. (AP) - At least eight minor earthquakes were recorded in central and southern Oklahoma in a single day.
The latest were a 3.7 magnitude earthquake recorded at 9:09 p.m. Thursday in the Oklahoma City suburb of Jones by the National Earthquake Information Center. A 2.3 magnitude quake was recorded at 11:15 p.m. about 15 miles northeast of Oklahoma City.
No damage or injuries are reported.
The quakes come after a 3.4 magnitude earthquake was recorded at 3:22 a.m. Thursday near Ada and five other earthquakes ranging from 2.5 to 2.7 occurred in the Jones area, also Thursday.
Quakes of magnitude 2.5 to 3 are generally the smallest felt by people.
