BROKEN ARROW, Okla. (AP) - Police in Broken Arrow says a chase ended when the suspect fleeing police shot and killed himself.
The man's name has not been released.
Officers say the chase began about 1 a.m. Monday when police stopped him for a traffic violation and the officer saw a gun in the front seat. The man sped away but about 10 minutes later his car crashed into a utility pole.
Police say when officers got to the car the man was dead with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
