ENID, Okla. (AP) - Police in Enid say a 14-year-old boy shot and killed himself on Christmas Day and are trying to determine why.
Enid Police Capt. Jack Morris says a call came in at about 2:55 Friday afternoon about a juvenile suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.
Enid police, fire and emergency workers responded to the scene, but the teen was pronounced dead.
Police identified the boy Sunday as Tanner Bailey. Foul play is not suspected and the state Medical Examiner's office did not request an autopsy.
Police say they're still conducting interviews to determine why the boy killed himself.
