Son of former congressman Istook arrested again

NORMAN, Okla. (AP) - The son of a former Oklahoma congressman has been arrested by University of Oklahoma police.
Police arrested 33-year-old Chad Allen Istook of Norman on Tuesday night. A court affidavit says he allegedly ran a stop sign and initially told police his name was "Earnest Istook."
Ernest Istook, the former congressman, is Chad Istook's father.
Court records indicate Chad Istook had an outstanding warrant for failure to appear. Court officials say he did not pay $886 in fines after a previous arrest.
Police say the tag on the vehicle Istook was driving was reported stolen. Prosecutors have charged Chad Istook with knowingly concealing stolen property and falsely personating another to create liability. Both are felonies.
It is unclear if Chad Istook has an attorney.
