OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Oklahoma City police have released video of
the theft of an automated teller machine from a bank drive-through.
The video released Friday shows a stolen tow truck backing up to
the ATM at a BancFirst branch in north Oklahoma City and a man
getting out and wrapping a chain around the machine.
The footage of the 1 a.m. theft on Wednesday then shows the
machine being yanked from the ground and landing on the back of the
Officers recovered the stolen wrecker and the empty ATM in a
vacant warehouse about two blocks from the bank.
Police are asking the public to help identify the person in the
Master Sgt. Gary Knight says another ATM was stolen Jan. 27 from
NBC Bank, but there is no video footage available.
