AG wants to intervene in Feed The Children case

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Oklahoma Attorney General Drew Edmondson is asking for permission to intervene in a civil case against the charity Feed The Children.
Fired Feed The Children president Larry Jones has asked the
court to appoint a temporary receiver at the Oklahoma City-based
charity and invited Edmondson to intervene.
Edmondson said Tuesday he has a duty to see that the public's
interest is protected. He says there are accusations of misuse of
the charity's property, assets and trusts.
Edmondson did not take a position on whether a receiver should
be appointed.
Feed The Children officials say they welcome Edmondson and
believe he'll find Jones' actions "disturbing."
